Shevet Onnot, Melbourne's vibrant Israeli Scout Branch, invites you to embark on an exciting journey of growth, adventure, and connection. As part of HaTzofim Australia, our Shevet has been igniting the spirits of young Jewish-Israeli-Australian minds since 2014, boasting a dynamic community of over 100 brilliant kids in grades 3 to 12.
Our mission is clear: to foster a deep-rooted connection to Israel and cultivate a strong Jewish-Israeli-Australian identity in our youth. Through engaging activities and immersive experiences, we strive to instil a sense of pride in our heritage and a love for Israel that lasts a lifetime.
Membership Enrolment AND Information
At Shevet Onnot, inclusivity is our cornerstone. We welcome children who speak or understand Hebrew, providing a supportive social framework where youth guide youth in weekly activities. Our movement is non-political and non-affiliated, focusing solely on creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
Throughout the year, our Shevet hosts a variety of meaningful events and activities, from exhilarating summer and winter camps to joyous Jewish and Israeli celebrations. Our scouting program is designed to develop intellect, social skills, and moral values through age-appropriate activities such as personal discussions, creative projects, camping adventures, ceremonies, and of course, plenty of fun!
Our meetings are held on Sundays throughout the entire year.

Post Year-12
As a testament to our impact, many of our members choose to continue their journey with us beyond year 12, volunteering in the Israeli army or embarking on a transformative gap year in Israel. They return as confident leaders, enriching our community with their experiences and dedication.

We are currently recruiting and building a team of new Madrichim, who will soon be ready to lead and educate Jewish, Zionist youth in Brisbane.
